Wedding Story | Isabelle + Casey’s Beautiful Massachusetts Wedding
As a Massachusetts wedding photographer and small business owner, there’s something incredibly special about being recommended by a past client or a friend- which is exactly how I met Isabelle + Casey. They discovered my photography through word of mouth, and I am so happy they did, because this classic Massachusetts wedding quickly became one of my all-time favorites.
Morning Joy
We began the day capturing classy getting-ready photos for both Isabelle and Casey. For the bride, that meant flat lay details, final touches of makeup, and putting on her dress with her mom. And I could never forget the sweetest first look with her bridesmaids, and emotional first look with her dad.
I’ll never forget the way her dad beamed when he saw her in her dress for the first time. He took in every little detail with joyful comments, and the smile on his face said everything.
Meanwhile the groom, Casey, was with his groomsmen sharing laughs and preparing for the ceremony. These joyful, candid, behind-the-scenes moments set the tone for the rest of the day perfectly.
A CHURCH WEDDING TO REMEMBER
Now, I’ll admit it… I’m a sucker for a beautiful church wedding. And this one? Absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony took place at Quinet Saint John Garden of Our Lady, where the architecture had my jaw on the floor. Between the stained glass windows and arches in the church it was a stunning backdrop for Isabelle + Casey’s heartfelt ceremony. They opted for a church aisle reveal, which never fails to create the most magical moment (and emotional reactions!).
After the ceremony, we spent some time in the church to document Isabelle and Casey together. The romantic bridal portraits were taken in Quinet Saint John Garden of Our Lady and truthfully, these turned out to be some of my favorite images EVER. In fact, one of them even made it onto my business cards 😉
BRIDAL PORTRAITS & FAMILY FORMALS
Following family formals inside the church, we headed to a second location with a gorgeous outdoors wooded pathway leading down to a peaceful lakeside view. The light was perfect, and we created a mix of classic and creative portraits that really captured Isabelle + Casey’s personalities.
Reception time
We wrapped up the evening at their Massachusetts reception location, which had a romantic interior that made for some truly cinematic shots of the bride and groom. The celebration was everything you’d want a wedding reception to be—lively, joyful, and full of love. Every toast, every dance, and every laugh was genuinely captured by Jessie Marilyn Photography.
